Pain management care in West Long Branch
Our West Long Branch office serves the northern Jersey Shore and eastern Monmouth County. If you live between Red Bank and Asbury Park, you can see Dr. Dharam Mann or Dr. Manjula Singh for back, neck, joint and nerve pain close to home.
The office is at 100 Route 36, Suite 1K, on the corner of Route 36 and Broadway/Eatontown Boulevard, directly across from the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham. Route 36 connects quickly to the Garden State Parkway and Route 35. That makes the office easy to reach from Long Branch, Eatontown, Oceanport, Monmouth Beach, Ocean Township, Little Silver, Red Bank and Asbury Park. Monmouth University's campus is also in West Long Branch.
Dr. Mann leads Garden State Medical Center. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine and completed fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School. His focus is non-surgical, image-guided care. He does not perform surgery, and when a surgical opinion makes sense he will tell you why and help with a referral. Pain management specialist Dr. Manjula Singh also sees patients at this office.
Patients see us in West Long Branch for low back pain and sciatica, neck pain from long commutes or desk work, knee and shoulder arthritis, and nerve pain. We also see pain after car accidents or sports injuries, and pain that has continued after spine surgery. Some patients are college students or young athletes; others have lived with pain for many years.
At your first visit, we review your history and imaging, examine you and explain what we think is causing the pain. Most plans begin with conservative care such as physical therapy and medicines. When that is not enough, Dr. Mann may discuss image-guided injections, radiofrequency ablation or, for long-standing pain, spinal cord or peripheral nerve stimulation. He explains the risks and realistic results of each option, and results vary from person to person.
Bring your ID, insurance card, a list of your medicines and any imaging reports.
If you already have imaging from Monmouth Medical Center or another nearby facility, bring the reports or tell us where it was done. That helps us avoid repeating tests. If you are working with a physical therapist, chiropractor or primary care doctor in the area, we are glad to coordinate so your plan stays consistent. Tell us about blood thinners, diabetes or heart conditions, since they affect when and how procedures can be done. And tell us what you want to get back to, such as surfing, running on the boardwalk, your commute or a full night's sleep, so we can measure progress against your own goals.
The office is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Look for Suite 1K. Call 732-202-3000 with questions about parking or access.
